Drake Customizes a Boeing 767 for His Travel Needs
Famous Canadian rapper Drake has recently revealed a bold move in upgrading his mode of transportation: he has customized a Boeing 767. Designed exclusively for himself, it serves not only for travel but also symbolizes Drake’s success and lifestyle.
On his Instagram account, Drake posted a video showing him in the aircraft manufacturing workshop, where the Boeing 767 is being completed. In the video, he shared with fans, “No need to rent and not buying with anyone,” expressing his joy in having a private jet that he doesn’t share with anyone.
Collaboration with Cargojet Airways
In the video, Drake thanked Ajay Virmani, the president of Cargojet Airways, for supporting him in this project. Ajay also announced that Drake will become a brand ambassador for Cargojet Airways in the near future, marking a promising partnership between the two parties.
Impressive Design
The Boeing 767 that Drake selected is the first wide-body aircraft from Boeing, featuring a unique design. The aircraft’s fuselage is painted in a striking teal color, creating a luxurious appearance. The tail of the plane is adorned with Drake’s signature hand logo, while an image of an owl—the symbol of his record label OVO—appears near the boarding door. Notably, Drake has named his aircraft “Drake Air.” According to Airways magazine, the estimated value of the plane is around $185 million.
Enviable Income
Drake currently earns about $47 million a year from various music activities, performances, and brand collaborations. With his immense wealth, he can spend freely, which has impressed his friends and colleagues. Fellow artist DJ Khaled congratulated Drake, praising him for completing such a major project. Meanwhile, rapper Rich The Kid didn’t hesitate to call Drake’s plane a “source of motivation” for him to continue striving in his own career.
Customizing the Boeing 767 is not only a significant step in Drake’s career but also a testament to the remarkable success he has achieved in the music industry.
