SUGA apologizes to BTS in a handwritten letter: “I will accept criticism and reprimand”
In a sincere handwritten letter, SUGA admitted to driving a scooter electricity in a drunken state.
After being present at Yongsan Police Station (Seoul) to cooperate in the investigation related to the drunk driving case, SUGA issued a second apology to fans on August 25 through a handwritten letter.
In the letter, SUGA admitted to driving an electric scooter while drunk. The rapper continued to apologize to fans and BTS members for the recent controversy. Below is the full text of SUGA’s apology letter:
“Hello, I’m SUGA. I want to apologize to all of you again with deep shame. I sincerely apologize for my wrong actions that have disappointed and hurt my fans.” as well as everyone who loves me. I made a big mistake, forgetting my responsibilities.” to respond to your love with actions worthy of the affection I have received.
On the night of August 6, I made the mistake of riding an electric motorbike after drinking alcohol. Additionally, I apologize for the confusion caused by my first hasty apology on August 7. I should have thought and been more careful but I was not.
It’s all my fault. My carelessness has caused hardship to everyone who cares about me. I will try not to repeat any wrongdoing and will live in repentance. This incident has seriously damaged the precious memories I have with the members and fans, and has put a lot of pressure on BTS’s reputation. I feel regret and pain that is hard to describe because of the hurt it has caused to the members and the group.
I’m sorry that the members who always trusted me had to endure hardship because of me. And I know that the fans who supported me will definitely feel disappointed. I deeply regret hurting the people who always have so much love for me.
I understand that it is difficult to heal from your wounds and disappointments
