We have some players returning, and this is an opportunity for me,” Cecconi shared.

Lovullo has drawn comparisons between Cecconi and Wade Davis, who became an elite pitcher after transitioning to a relief role. In his first outing back with the Diamondbacks, Cecconi excelled against batters, limiting opponents to a mere .152 batting average, showcasing his effectiveness as a relief option.
