In a shocking revelation during the November 8 episode of the BFFs Podcast, LaPaglia, the ex-girlfriend of singer Zach Bryan, made explosive accusations of emotional abuse during their relationship. LaPaglia claimed that Bryan’s actions left her psychologically scarred and deeply afraid of him, detailing her traumatic experience with him.
Emotional Abuse Claims
LaPaglia shared that Bryan had allegedly offered her $12 million and an apartment in New York in exchange for signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to keep their relationship private. She described the emotional abuse she suffered, saying, “The last year of my life was the hardest, dealing with this guy’s mistreatment. I still feel scared right now because I fear him. My brain has been rewired, and I’m terrified of making him angry.”
The former girlfriend recounted how Bryan would manipulate her emotions, making her feel responsible for his bad behavior, only for him to apologize the next day with promises of change. “There was always another reason why he treated me badly and why I cried every night,” LaPaglia said.
She also accused Bryan of pressuring previous girlfriends into signing NDAs to prevent them from speaking publicly about their experiences, describing how they were made to feel there was no choice but to accept the money and remain silent.
Following their breakup, LaPaglia claimed that Bryan’s team reached out to her with a substantial financial offer to remain quiet, offering her a large sum of money spread over three years in exchange for her silence about their relationship. LaPaglia, however, refused the offer, stating, “I won’t take any money. I think that’s not worth it. You can’t pay people you’ve hurt to protect you.”
Career Control and Isolation
Additionally, LaPaglia accused Bryan of breaking her phone multiple times during their relationship and trying to control her career. She revealed, “He offered to double what Barstool Sports was offering me to get me to quit. He just didn’t want me to do it.”
LaPaglia explained that she felt isolated and lost throughout their relationship, which was publicly confirmed in July 2023. The couple had been together for over a year before Bryan confirmed their breakup in October. “I lost myself in this relationship. I didn’t even recognize myself anymore,” she confessed, revealing that she lost 15 pounds she didn’t need to lose during that time.As of now, Zach Bryan’s camp has not commented on LaPaglia’s serious allegations.
