According to Ukrainian media, on the night of August 3, the Russian Army carried out four attacks on important infrastructure in the Vinnytsia region. This information was personally confirmed by the head of the Vinnytsia regional military administration, Ms. Natalya Zabolotnaya.
According to Ms. Zabolotnaya, the oil depot at the Spetszhelezobeton plant was attacked, moreover, this subject was attacked by Russian forces according to a new tactical model, with continuous attacks, which were recorded as 4 consecutive attacks, making rescue and firefighting work impossible.
“First there was one attack, then the second and third. When the fire brigade arrived at the scene of the fire and began to deploy fire extinguishing work, the fourth attack occurred,” – the head of the Vinnytsia regional military administration stated.
Judging by the statements of Kiev authorities, the fuel depot near Vinnitsa has long been out of action, but local media reports indicate that the Ukrainian Ministry of Emergency Situations has been unable to control the fire for a long time.
Based on the analysis of Natalya Zabolotnaya’s statements, Ukrainian experts concluded that the attack on the oil depot was carried out under the control of a reconnaissance drone, whose operator carefully monitored what was happening at the site of the attack.
Therefore, when the rescue operation began, Russia continued to launch such dangerous attacks, increasing the effectiveness of the attack and making it very difficult for Ukraine to carry out rescue operations.
In recent times, the Ukrainian military has expressed growing concerns about the increased activity of reconnaissance UAVs operated by the enemy. According to their information, the drones of the Russian Armed Forces are capable of maintaining a presence in the air for many hours, ready to take turns when necessary.
This has created a significant advantage for Russia, as they can monitor every step of the Ukrainian military units, grasp the movement of reinforcements and shipments of equipment being delivered to the front.
At the same time, these UAVs also help determine the location of important targets deep inside Ukrainian territory, making the situation more tense than ever.
