Recently, the GRAMMYs 2025 officially announced nominations for all categories, drawing the attention of millions of music fans worldwide. Among the notable names, Sabrina Carpenter stands out with multiple major nominations at the 67th GRAMMY Awards.
Sabrina Carpenter Shines at the 2025 GRAMMYs
Impressive Nominations with her hit album Short n’ Sweet and two chart-topping singles, Espresso and Please Please Please, Sabrina Carpenter has secured nominations in four major categories:
- Best New Artist
- Album of the Year
- Record of the Year
- Song of the Year
If she wins in these categories, Sabrina will follow in the footsteps of Billie Eilish, who achieved a similar feat in 2020. In addition to these key nominations, Sabrina also received two Pop category nominations for Short n’ Sweet and Espresso. Notably, she is the only artist this year to be nominated in both Record of the Year and Song of the Year with two summer hits, Espresso and Please Please Please.
Barry Keoghan’s Pride for His Girlfriend
Following the announcement, Sabrina’s boyfriend, actor Barry Keoghan, expressed his pride during a recent appearance on The Jess Cagle Show.
Reacting to Sabrina’s six nominations, including Song of the Year for Please Please Please—a music video in which he stars—Barry shared:
“It’s amazing, I knew it. It’s amazing, absolutely amazing, guys. No, I’m genuinely so happy for her, honestly, and I need to call her soon.”
When the host jokingly suggested that Barry might have anticipated the nomination while filming the music video, he replied:
“Oh, absolutely, for sure. But no, really, really… I don’t know anyone who works as hard as she does. I admire watching her work, the dedication she has, and the high standards she sets. In a previous interview on The Louis Theroux Podcast, Barry spoke about his relationship with Sabrina, saying he feels “incredibly lucky” to be dating her. He added:
