Pete Davidson has reportedly entered rehab for the second time this year following a brief romance with Maria Georgas, a former contestant on The Bachelor—though conflicting reports suggest otherwise.
Davidson recently checked into a rehab facility in Florida, arriving via private jet. A source claimed, “He’s not in a great place this time.” While the exact date of his admission is unclear, the source added that his decision was made “very recently.”
Previous Rehab Stints and Mental Health Struggles
The insider further noted that Davidson ended his relationship with Georgas, 30, shortly before seeking treatment, describing their romance as lasting just “a few months.”
However, a source close to Davidson told that the actor is not in rehab and remains in New York City, casting doubt on the rehab claims.
In July 2024, Davidson voluntarily entered rehab for mental health treatment, just a month after ending his relationship with actress Madelyn Cline. A source shared that his friends and family were supportive of his decision, emphasizing that Davidson prioritizes his health and well-being.
During a July stand-up performance, Davidson admitted that the only substance he still used was marijuana, saying:
“I still haven’t been able to quit [weed]. It’s all I have left…I’ve done coke, ketamine, and all kinds of crap. I just have weed now, so I’m close.”
Ongoing Battle with BPD and PTSD
In June 2023, it was revealed that Davidson had sought treatment for his struggles with borderline personality disorder (BPD) and PTSD. A friend described his regular rehab visits as a “mental reset” to maintain his health.
“Pete routinely checks into rehab for a tune-up. It’s nothing new—it’s about staying on top of his mental health,” the friend explained.
Despite his challenges, Davidson continues to thrive professionally, with projects like Bodies Bodies Bodies and Bupkis receiving critical acclaim.
