Knowing When to Leave
Nick Cannon recently shared his experience attending parties hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs, explaining how he navigates the notorious atmosphere. During an appearance on the “No Jumper” podcast with Adam22, Cannon explained that he often knows when it’s time to leave, especially before any chaotic incidents occur. “I’ve got to get out early,” Cannon said. At 44, he emphasized his role as a DJ, often performing at these events and leaving once his music set is over. He added, “When it’s time for me to be done, I’m out.”
Insights from Other Guests
Cannon isn’t the only one who has shared his perspective. Cash Jones, also known as Wack 100, who has attended several of Diddy’s “backyard” parties, noted that the vibe often shifts after most of the guests have left. Jones explained, “Personally, I’m a backdoor guy. Around 12:15 to 1:30, we’re out.” Jones described the atmosphere inside the house as quiet until around 2:30 or 3:00 a.m., after which things were said to become more intense. “We don’t know what’s going on,” he admitted, emphasizing that neither he nor Cannon had ever witnessed anything illegal during their time at the parties.
Speculations Surrounding Allegations
Cannon touched on the ongoing legal issues surrounding Diddy, suggesting that many of the sensational claims might have been exaggerated. He referenced the upcoming trial set for 2025, hinting at the public’s anticipation of the accusations against the music mogul. The conversation shifted to specific allegations against Diddy, including claims that he had mixed drugs into baby oil to render victims helpless. Cannon expressed skepticism about some of these sensational claims, saying, “I think there’s a lot of hype being blown out of proportion.”
Dismissing Serious Allegations
During the podcast, the hosts discussed serious allegations that Diddy had sexually assaulted more than 20 minors. However, Cannon expressed disbelief in the authenticity of these claims. Having had a long-standing relationship with Diddy and knowing him for nearly three decades, Cannon affirmed that he had never encountered anything illegal. “I’m living my truth,” he said. Reflecting on his early experiences trying to attend Diddy’s parties, he likened it to the crowd in the Notorious B.I.G.’s “One More Chance” music video, where people eagerly waited to get in.
Cannon made it clear that there was a significant difference between attending one of Diddy’s “fun parties” and what he described as “wild sex parties,” where drugs and violence were allegedly involved. He stressed, “People are afraid to speak up because maybe they’ve got something to hide, but I’ve got nothing to hide!” Currently, Diddy is facing serious allegations, including sex trafficking, extortion, and running a prostitution ring, all of which he has denied. As the legal battle continues, Cannon remains a notable figure, offering insights into the complex dynamics of celebrity parties and the serious accusations surrounding them.
