Mystery L.A. Celebrity Accuses Lawyer of Extortion in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Scandal
A Los Angeles-based celebrity, known only as John Doe, has filed a lawsuit against attorney Tony Buzbee, accusing him of extortion in the ongoing legal saga surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs. This development marks a significant escalation in the controversy, which already includes accusations of sexual abuse, trafficking, and misconduct tied to Combs’ infamous “freak-off” parties.
The Allegations Against Tony Buzbee
The celebrity’s lawsuit claims that Buzbee, who represents over 120 alleged victims of Combs, attempted to extort a payout in exchange for not naming him as a sexual abuser. According to the lawsuit, Buzbee sent letters with “wildly false and horrific allegations,” accusing John Doe of raping minors at parties hosted by Combs. The letters allegedly threatened dire consequences if Doe did not agree to a mediated settlement, even attaching a ticking clock image to one message.
Doe’s attorneys described this as “textbook extortion,” emphasizing that the allegations were fabricated and malicious.
Diddy’s “Freak-Off” Parties Under Federal Scrutiny
The lawsuit against Buzbee is part of a broader investigation into Sean Combs’ alleged misconduct. Federal prosecutors allege that Combs orchestrated a network of enablers to organize “freak-off” events, where victims—some minors—were allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted.
These events, prosecutors claim, involved a network of participants who cleaned up evidence and silenced victims to protect Combs’ reputation. While Combs has denied all accusations, he is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and more.
Buzbee Denies Extortion Claims
In response to the lawsuit, Buzbee labeled the allegations against him as an attempt to intimidate both him and his clients. He insisted that his actions—sending demand letters seeking mediation—are standard legal practice.
“I am a U.S. Marine. I won’t be silenced or intimidated,” Buzbee stated, vowing to continue representing victims and exposing those involved in the alleged abuse.
This lawsuit isn’t the first to suggest the involvement of other celebrities in the alleged abuses. In a related federal case, a woman identified as Jane Doe claims she was 13 when she was raped at a Combs-hosted party by him and an unnamed male celebrity while a female celebrity watched.
Buzbee has previously hinted that more names involved in these allegations will “shock” the public.
The Legal Battle Intensifies
Attorneys for John Doe accuse Buzbee of exploiting victims’ bravery to extract settlements from innocent individuals. They allege Buzbee has embarked on a campaign to implicate wealthy individuals, regardless of their actual involvement.
Meanwhile, Combs’ legal team continues to battle for his release on bail, arguing that evidence seized from his prison cell violates his constitutional rights. Federal prosecutors claim this evidence reveals Combs’ attempts to tamper with witnesses while in custody.
As the legal drama unfolds, the public awaits further revelations in this high-stakes battle involving Sean Combs, Hollywood celebrities, and powerful legal forces. This case not only highlights the potential abuse of power in entertainment but also the complexities of seeking justice in such high-profile scandals.
