Climate and environmental activists have targeted Lionel Messi’s villa in Ibiza. The group boldly broke into the villa’s grounds to vandalise it, spray-painted the walls and held up a sign that read: “Kill the rich”.
Two members of the group posed for photos in the back garden of Lionel Messi’s house, where they sprayed red and white paint all over. The group held up a banner inside Messi’s house with the message “Help the planet, kill the rich, get rid of the police”.

On X (formerly Twitter), he shared: “We have tinted Lionel Messi’s illegal villa in Ibiza. The villa is an illegal construction that the footballer bought for a whopping €11 million. Meanwhile, in the Balearic Islands alone, between 2 and 4 people have died as a direct result of the heatwave.”
