In an exclusive interview with Elle magazine (USA), Lisa opened up about her personality and personal growth. She shared: “To be honest, I’m not the type of person who is good at expressing my emotions. Lately, I feel more confident in what I think and say out loud.”
Elle magazine reported on Lisa’s first solo performance at the Global Citizen Festival in New York on September 28, marking an important turning point in her career. Lisa admitted that her solo career has helped her explore and gain more confidence in expressing herself: “I think the last comeback gave me the opportunity to be myself, so I can confidently say what I like and don’t like.”
However, the 26-year-old beauty is still committed to continuing to accompany and promote with the BlackPink members, showing her loyalty and attachment to the group.

Although the four girls have parted ways with YG Entertainment to focus on their individual careers, Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo and Rosé have renewed their contracts to continue working as a group in the future.
In July, YG Entertainment president Yang Hyun Suk teased plans for a potential BlackPink tour in 2025. Lisa stated, “Of course, we will definitely continue. We are very proud of BlackPink and I love BlackPink. Not only for our fans, but also for ourselves. There is no doubt about it. This is our life.” This ensures that despite pursuing solo careers, BlackPink will still maintain group activities and continue to give back to their fans.
