Lauren Conrad is expressing her excitement as her husband, William Tell, reunites with his band Something Corporate. The couple, married for nearly a decade, is embracing this new chapter for the rock group that originally formed over 20 years ago.
Something Corporate’s Comeback
Something Corporate, which includes members William Tell, Andrew McMahon, Josh Partington, Kevin Page, and Brian Ireland, first burst onto the music scene in 1998. They enjoyed success until their breakup in 2005, after which the band went on an indefinite hiatus. Recently, the group teased the release of a new track titled “Death Grip” on Instagram, and Lauren was quick to show her support by sharing the video on her own Instagram Story.
This marks a significant moment for the band, as “Death Grip” is their first new song in two decades. To celebrate the release, Something Corporate is also set to kick off a tour starting in Brooklyn on June 20, reigniting excitement among their long-time fans.
Family Life Amidst the Hiatus
During the band’s extended break, Lauren and William have been busy building their family. Since their wedding in 2014, they have welcomed two children: Liam, aged 6, and Charlie, aged 4. While the couple tends to keep their family life private, they have shared snippets of their journey. Lauren has previously mentioned that meeting William changed her perspective on having children.
“I wanted to have a family with him and I wanted to have kids with him,” Lauren explained on the Perelel Lives podcast in 2022. She reflected on her past uncertainty about starting a family, stating, “I just hadn’t found a partner who I was really excited to start a family with, so I think that was it for me.”
A Focused Family Dynamic
Despite her love for family life, Lauren has made it clear that she and William are not planning to expand their family further. After the arrival of their son Liam in 2017, Lauren stated, “My husband and I always wanted two kids. I think it’s best not to be outnumbered.” This focus on maintaining a balanced family dynamic reflects their shared values and priorities.
The Excitement of Reunion
Lauren’s enthusiasm for William’s band reunion is palpable, and she is a proud supporter as he steps back into the spotlight with Something Corporate. Her social media shoutout not only highlights her unwavering support but also resonates with fans who have followed both her journey and the band’s legacy.
