Kim Kardashian is known for her luxurious lifestyle, and she continues to indulge in the finer things in life. Recently, the reality TV star showcased not only her massive diamond rings but also had a meeting with Tesla’s latest humanoid robot, Optimus.
In a series of videos shared on her social media accounts on November 18, Kim gave a sneak peek into her private meeting with the latest version of Optimus, a humanoid robot designed to assist with repetitive, dangerous, or boring tasks. However, for Kim, this encounter was not just about technology, but also about trying out the robot in her own unique style.
Kim wore two enormous diamond rings while interacting with Optimus. One of the rings featured a large emerald-cut diamond set on a chunky platinum band, while the other was more intricate, with smaller stones wrapped around her finger.
In one video, Kim asked the robot to perform a simple gesture: “Can you blow a kiss?” The robot immediately moved its hand to its face in a kissing motion, which made Kim exclaim, “Aww, you’re so cute!” She captioned the post, “Meet my new friend.”
In another video, Kim unboxed a gold version of the robot and pointed out, “Only one gold one exists.” Clearly, future technology is something that’s capturing her attention.
The tech fun didn’t stop there. Kim also tested out the Cybercab, a self-driving taxi developed by Tesla. “The Cybercab is insane,” she said in a third video, noting how its design resembled her own Cybertruck. “It kind of looks like the rims on my silver Cybertruck,” Kim remarked, showing her appreciation for all things electric and futuristic.
Kim isn’t new to owning cutting-edge technology. She already owns at least one Cybertruck, an electric vehicle from Tesla. Notably, her version of the truck has been customized with a matte black finish, a color option not available from the factory due to the truck’s stainless steel frame.
As for Optimus, the robot has not yet been released to the market. However, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has hinted that Optimus could cost between $20,000 and $30,000 once it enters “limited production” in 2025. Musk also expressed his goal to speed up the development of this technology to stay ahead of the competition. “What really matters is, can we be much faster than everyone else and get our product out a few years before theirs and make it better?” Musk said in a CNBC interview in June.
Kim Kardashian continues to live a luxurious life while embracing new technological innovations. Whether it’s massive diamonds or advanced robots, Kim’s life remains the perfect blend of luxury and cutting-edge creativity.
