Tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2025 sold out in under 40 minutes, organizers confirmed. Thousands of hopeful attendees queued online from 09:00 GMT, but by 09:35 GMT, all tickets were gone. The world-renowned festival will take place from June 25 to June 29, 2025, before taking a scheduled break in 2026 to allow the grounds at Worthy Farm, Somerset, to recover.
Ticket Prices and Demand
Tickets were priced at £373.50, plus a £5 booking fee—an increase of £18.50 compared to 2024.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Glastonbury Festival stated:
“Glastonbury 2025 tickets have now sold out. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets, and our apologies to those who missed out this morning, when demand far exceeded supply. There will be a resale of any returned tickets in Spring 2025.”
A new automated queuing system was implemented, requiring fans to be online with valid registrations before ticket sales began.
However, some users reported issues. One fan tweeted:
“I got to the booking page, clicked continue, and the system crashed. It sent me back to the booking page—crashed again—and then I got a message saying all tickets were sold out. This isn’t fair.”
Another asked:
“Did anyone else get through, enter all their details, and then receive an access denied message?”
Others had more positive experiences, with one user saying:
“Didn’t get tickets, but the new system is a huge improvement over the old one. Much fairer.”

Ticketing Details
Registration for 2025 tickets closed on November 11 at 17:00. Fans could purchase up to six tickets per person.
Tickets must be fully paid by April 7, 2025. Any unpaid tickets by that date will be included in the Spring 2025 resale.
Approximately 210,000 people attended the festival in June, with general admission tickets selling out in under an hour.
Coldplay, Dua Lipa, and SZA headlined the Pyramid Stage, while Shania Twain took the coveted Sunday Legends slot.
