Elon Musk and Grimes House Hunting for Bel Air Mansion with Musk’s Other Children’s Mothers
Elon Musk and Grimes are currently on the lookout for a Bel Air mansion where they can co-parent their children together, along with the mothers of Musk’s other children. Despite no longer being romantically involved, the two are actively seeking a new home that can accommodate their three children—X Æ A-12 (4), Exa Dark Sideræl (3 ½), and Techno Mechanicus (born 2022)—as well as Musk’s children from his previous relationships. A source revealed that the pair recently toured properties in Upper Bel Air, with Grimes even visiting one of the homes on behalf of Musk’s other children’s mothers. Musk has reportedly said that Grimes will be moving in, highlighting their continued focus on creating a co-parenting environment where all of Musk’s children and their mothers can live together harmoniously.
Although Musk and Grimes are no longer in a romantic relationship, they remain deeply committed to their roles as parents. Musk, who has nine children with three different women, has said that he wants his children to grow up in a supportive, unified household. His first marriage to Justine Wilson resulted in six children, including twins Vivian Jenna and Griffin (born 2004) and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian (born 2006). In addition, Musk has three children with Shivon Zilis, a Neuralink executive. Musk’s evolving family dynamics and his co-parenting goals reflect his unconventional approach to family life, as he seeks to build an environment where all of his children and their mothers can coexist.
Grimes and Shivon Zilis Resolve Tensions and Move Forward
Despite the public speculation surrounding the complex dynamics between Grimes and Shivon Zilis, the two women have recently cleared the air. In September 2023, Grimes took to X to address any misunderstandings and expressed her desire to establish a positive relationship with Zilis, who shares twins with Musk. Grimes shared an apology, writing, “I spoke with Shivon at length finally, which was long overdue. This wasn’t her fault, plz don’t be angry at her! We respect each other a lot and we’re excited to become friends and have the kids grow up together.”
Zilis responded in kind, expressing appreciation for the conversation and emphasizing that they both wanted the best for their children. In a post on X, Zilis said, “At the end of the day it all ended up for the best! Thank you for taking the time to really connect and understand each other. So glad we had such a wonderful talk, was insanely overdue. You’re a total badass and I respect you very much as well.” Zilis also expressed her excitement for future “kiddo play dates”, signaling that both women are on good terms and eager to support each other as co-parents.
Despite their personal differences, Musk, Grimes, and Zilis appear to be navigating their co-parenting roles with mutual respect. Grimes’ and Zilis’ public reconciliation reflects the growing understanding among the mothers of Musk’s children, as they put their children’s well-being first and set aside any past tensions for the sake of their families.
