Discover exclusive electric supercar: Pininfarina Battista worth 2.2 million USD
The Pininfarina Battista, a marvel of modern engineering, has four electric motors delivering a combined output of 1,900 horsepower. This impressive power allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 1.79 seconds and reach a top speed in excess of 222 mph.
In addition to launching the unique Targa version of the Battista, Automobilei Pininfarina also introduced its latest electric car model during Monterey Car Week. The special edition Pininfarina Battista is inspired by the ancient Italian town of Cambiano.
While some Battista models boast striking paint schemes, the owner of this particular electric Pininfarina Battista has chosen a more subtle approach, opting for predominantly white panels. Various parts, including the pillars, roof and part of the bonnet, are painted black. The car also features carbon fiber accents on the front splitter and side panels.
The lower part of the rear wing is intricately designed, featuring an intricate hand-drawn map of the Cambiano region, complete with a stylized depiction of the Battista production line. The custom door panels bear the same image and are laser engraved with the phrases “Where it all begins” and “Fatto Con Amore in Italia,” which means “Made with love in Italy.”
The Battista’s interior is equally remarkable. The upper part of the chair has a black and white design reminiscent of last year’s B95 Barchetta showcase. The rest of the cabin is upholstered in black leather, complemented by contrasting white stitching.
Dave Amantea, Design Director of Automobilei Pininfarina, expressed the unique significance of this car: “With its special and close connection to the Cambiano, this Battista holds a truly special place in our hearts. everyone at Automobilei Pininfarina. We have crafted a car that exhibits unparalleled sophistication and craftsmanship, reflecting nearly 95 years of design heritage.”
Amantea added: “The unique finish celebrates the talent and dedication of the designers, engineers and artisans working at Cambiano, all united in pursuit of our brand vision: creating dream cars”.
Last week’s event in Monterey was especially memorable for Pininfarina, not only for the debut of the Battista Targamerica but also for hosting the first-ever Battista Owners’ Parade. This exclusive cruise features 10 cars, allowing their owners to experience the breathtaking California coast.
The Pininfarina Battista electric special edition has a starting price of 2.2 million USD. With four electric motors generating a total of 1,900 horsepower, it can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 1.79 seconds and reach a top speed of over 222 mph.
