Renowned music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is embroiled in a serious legal battle, facing allegations of sexual assault dating back to 2000. A woman has come forward, claiming that she was sexually assaulted by Diddy at the age of 13 during an MTV Video Music Awards after-party.
Deadline reports that the plaintiff, now 37, filed the lawsuit against Diddy (Sean Combs) in New York federal court on October 20. In the lawsuit, she said the incident occurred after she went to a spare room to rest after feeling dizzy from drinking a glass of water at the party on September 7, 2000.
“Immediately thereafter, Combs entered the room with two male and female celebrities. Combs aggressively approached the plaintiff with a crazed look in his eyes, grabbed her, and said, ‘We’re ready to party,'” according to the 19-page lawsuit.
Diddy, then 30, is accused of pushing the girl toward the male celebrity. The lawsuit alleges that the man and Diddy raped her in turn. Diddy allegedly forced the victim to perform oral sex, but she resisted, punched the rapper in the neck, and fled. The plaintiff said she ran to a gas station and called her father to pick her up.
According to a secret source, the plaintiff said that a limousine driver who worked for Diddy helped her sneak into the MTV Video Music Awards at Radio City Music Hall in New York. The woman said that after the awards ceremony, the driver drove her to a party at a house where Diddy attacked her.
“After the attack, Plaintiff fell into a deep depression that continues to affect every aspect of her life,” the lawsuit, filed by Texas attorney Tony Buzbee, states.
Tony Buzbee is representing five unnamed people who are suing Diddy for sexual assault. The lawyer also said that more than 100 people have contacted him to report sexual misconduct by the American rapper, many of whom were minors. Diddy, through his lawyer, denied the allegations. The 54-year-old rapper is currently being held in a New York jail. He was arrested on September 16 on charges of sex trafficking, conspiracy to commit extortion and soliciting prostitution. Previously, Diddy was sued for violence and harassment by his ex-girlfriend, singer Casandra Ventura, and several others.
