Carlos Yulo is set to embark on a new chapter filled with numerous rewards from the Philippines after securing two gold medals at the Olympics.
On the evening of August 4th, Carlos Yulo made history by clinching his second gold medal at the Paris Olympics in the Artistic Gymnastics Vault event. With an average score of 15.116 across two vaults, he topped the leaderboard among eight competitors. Overwhelmed with joy, Yulo celebrated his outstanding performance with exuberant gestures, hugging his head and pumping his fist in the air.
Prior to Carlos Yulo, the only Filipino athlete to win Olympic gold was female weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz at the 2021 Olympics. Now, Yulo, with his two gold medals, is eagerly awaited back home with a plethora of rewards.
