Conor McGregor recently made waves by revealing that he won a massive $200,000 from a high-risk $1 million bet on the UFC 307 fight between Alex Pereira and Khalil Rountree Jr. The legendary fighter placed a bold wager on Alex Pereira, who successfully defended his light heavyweight title against Khalil Rountree Jr. The result was Pereira’s convincing victory in the fourth round, bringing McGregor a huge payout.
Ahead of UFC 307, McGregor, a superstar in the UFC world, couldn’t hide his excitement about the match. The former champion confidently predicted: “I’m putting a million dollars on this fight. There’s going to be a knockout, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Rountree pulls off a crazy win or Pereira knocks him out with a flying knee. Whoever throws a low kick in this fight will lose!”
