Adele Reportedly Engaged
Singer Adele has reportedly hinted at her engagement to boyfriend Rich Paul after three years of dating. During her concert in Munich on August 9, a fan jokingly proposed to Adele, to which the singer responded with exciting news: “I can’t marry you because I’m about to get married.” According to Page Six, this statement is believed to be Adele’s subtle confirmation that the British singer is preparing to tie the knot.
This isn’t the first time Adele has sparked engagement rumors. In February 2022, she caught the audience’s attention at the Brit Awards by wearing a large diamond ring estimated to be worth around $1 million. Additionally, in October 2023, she showcased another diamond ring on Instagram, followed by a gold ring on her left ring finger while attending a basketball game in Los Angeles with Rich Paul a month later. Most recently, media outlets spotted her wearing an $875,000 diamond ring in London. Despite the ongoing speculation, the couple has yet to publicly confirm the engagement.
Adele and Rich Paul began dating in 2021 after Adele finalized her divorce from businessman Simon Konecki. The couple made their first public appearance together at Game 5 of the NBA Finals in July 2021, and Adele officially confirmed their relationship on Instagram two months later. According to Page Six, Adele has expressed her desire to marry and have children with Paul, possibly in 2022.
At 36 years old, Adele has won 15 Grammy Awards and sold over 120 million records worldwide. She married Simon Konecki in 2018, but the couple divorced after three years. They share a 12-year-old son, Angelo. Following the split, Adele took a step back from her career to focus on raising her son.
Adele is currently performing in a five-week concert series, Adele in Munich, running from August 2 to 31. The event is held at the Adele Arena, a temporary stadium built specifically for her performances. After concluding her shows in Germany, Adele will resume her Weekends with Adele concert series in Las Vegas from October 25 to November 23. She plans to take a break from performing once her U.S. tour concludes.
Rich Paul is Adele’s first significant relationship since her divorce. He is a well-known figure in the NBA, representing top athletes such as LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Trae Young.
