Major Concerts in the UK on the Horizon
Recent news about Adele has sparked significant interest among her fans. According to British media, the Rolling in the Deep singer is planning a series of grand comeback concerts in her homeland next year. Adele is reportedly in talks to perform at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the UK, which has a capacity of 60,000 seats and is close to where she grew up.
Despite announcing her intention to take an extended break, Adele has decided to delay her hiatus to pursue this remarkable concert series. A source close to the singer told Mirror that if Adele agrees to the concerts, she could earn up to £5 million ($645 million USD) per show.
The source added:
“There’s an offer for Adele to finally perform at Spurs’ stadium, which has been her dream for years. She loves the club and makes sure she never misses a game on TV.”
Currently, Adele has returned to Las Vegas to wrap up her Weekends With Adele residency at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace.
Health Challenges
During a recent performance in Las Vegas, Adele revealed some concerning news about her health. She shared that she had partially lost hearing in her left ear due to a rare waterborne bacterial infection she contracted in August while performing a 10-day concert residency in Munich, Germany.
“I had a really bad ear infection, and it was awful. I’ve never experienced anything like it. It was the most painful thing that’s ever happened to me, worse than childbirth. It was a rare waterborne bacterial infection, very hard to treat.
I was on the wrong antibiotics for a few days until they gave me something that started working. There were moments I wanted to cut my ear off. I’m not in pain anymore, which is great, but my left ear is slightly deaf.”
During her final performance in Germany, Adele became emotional as she revealed her plans to take an indefinite break from her music career. She told the audience:
“I have 10 more shows, but after that, you won’t see me for a very long time. And I will cherish you in my heart. It’s been amazing, but I just need a rest. I’ve spent the last seven years building a life for myself, and now I want to live it.”
