Adele ‘Engaged’
Singer Adele seems to have indirectly confirmed her engagement to boyfriend Rich Paul after three years of dating during a concert in Germany.
At her “Adele in Munich” concert on August 9, a fan pretended to propose to Adele, leading the singer to share some surprising news. “I can’t marry you because I’m already engaged,” she replied. Many interpreted this as a subtle admission that the British singer is preparing to get married, according to Page Six.
Prior to this, at the Brit Awards in February 2022, Adele drew attention by wearing a large diamond ring valued at approximately one million USD. Additionally, “The British Songbird” flaunted another diamond ring on Instagram in October 2023. A month later, Adele was seen wearing a gold ring on her ring finger while attending a basketball game with her partner in Los Angeles. Recently, media spotted her wearing a diamond ring worth 875,000 USD in London. The couple has not confirmed any details to date.
Adele and Rich Paul began dating in 2021 after her divorce from her previous husband, businessman Simon Konecki. They first appeared together at the Game 5 of the NBA Finals in July 2021, and she publicly acknowledged their relationship on Instagram two months later. According to Page Six, Adele had plans to marry and have a child with Paul in 2022.
Adele, 36, has won 15 Grammy Awards and sold over 120 million records. She married Simon Konecki in 2018 but divorced after three years of marriage. They have a 12-year-old son, Angelo. After their split, Adele reduced her public appearances to spend more time with her child.
Currently, Adele is performing in the “Adele in Munich” concert series from August 2 to August 31, held at the Adele Arena—a temporary venue set up for her music event. After her German concerts, Adele will continue her “Weekends with Adele” residency in Las Vegas from October 25 to November 23. She plans to take a break from performing after the U.S. tour concludes.
Rich Paul is Adele’s first romance after her previous marriage. He is well-known in the NBA as an agent representing top players like LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Trae Young.
