Cruise’s generosity hit new heights in December 2021, when he arranged for his private jet to deliver 300 cakes to the cast and crew of Mission: Impossible 7. A source told The Sun, “Tom wanted to express his gratitude to everyone who worked on the film, so he chose cakes from his favorite bakery in Los Angeles.”
In a 2020 interview with Yahoo, Eric Doan, the owner of Doan’s Bakery, expressed his gratitude to Cruise for helping the business stay afloat during the pandemic. “We survived the pandemic thanks to Tom’s orders,” said Eric’s son, Karen, who co-manages the bakery.
