Plot Summary
“Outside the Wire” takes viewers into a future world where technology and artificial intelligence (AI) play an important role in the military. The story revolves around Harp, a sergeant who operates drones for the US military. After acting against orders to save soldiers, Harp is disciplined and transferred to a barracks near the Russian border, where he must coordinate with Leo, a super robot, to carry out the mission of delivering vaccines to poor people. The film presents many unexpected plots and major challenges that Harp faces in a dangerous war environment.
Overall Review
“Outside the Wire” was a hit when it debuted on Netflix, thanks to its attractive future setting and eye-catching action scenes. However, although the film has some bright elements, the character development and plot do not quite meet expectations.
Strengths
