The Sweet Marriage of Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin
Korean actress Son Ye Jin has shared her simple happiness in living with actor Hyun Bin and raising their children together. Two years after their “fairy-tale wedding,” the couple’s married life continues to attract attention from fans across Asia.
In an interview with JungAng Ilbo on July 8, the 42-year-old beauty expressed her “infatuation” with Hyun Bin, describing him as a refined man with a straightforward and rational personality. “He doesn’t hide what he dislikes and doesn’t put on a facade. He is a simple, gentle, and very reliable person. Plus, he’s both handsome and tall,” Son Ye Jin said.
Previously, work was the center of Son Ye Jin’s life, to the point where she could not distinguish between her personal life and her career. However, over the past two years, she has devoted most of her time to herself, focusing on major life events like getting married and raising their child. This shift has allowed Son Ye Jin to find happiness in the simple things. As long as her son eats well and the day passes peacefully, she feels fulfilled. Since getting married, every day has been filled with joy and happiness for Son Ye Jin.
Becoming a mother, the actress has found her life richer and herself more mellow. Her family provides a sense of security and motivation to strive for a healthy and positive environment for their child.
Son Ye Jin enjoys cooking, preparing everything from simple to elaborate dishes for her husband and child. She emphasizes choosing healthy foods, frequently changing recipes, and including a lot of vegetables in each meal.
With her son nearly two years old, Son Ye Jin is preparing to return to work. At the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) on July 6, she revealed that she has chosen a script for her comeback and will be busier in the latter half of the year. While Son Ye Jin takes a break from work to focus on her family, Hyun Bin continues his film projects, including “The Point Men” and “Harbin.” Occasionally, the couple also “escapes” their parental duties for private outings, such as dining out, playing golf, or watching baseball.
