In a recent interview with Elle Korea, Song Hye Kyo shared that while she respects the natural aging process, she always strives to maintain her appearance because she frequently appears in public. On August 27, Elle Korea’s YouTube channel released a video titled “Song Hye Kyo: No Further Explanation Needed,” which garnered significant attention with her fresh and unique look.
In the video, the South Korean actress appeared youthful and different with a chic fringe hairstyle and pink-purple eye makeup. Despite her somewhat conservative outfit, she still captivated audiences with her ageless beauty. When asked about moments when she feels she looks beautiful, Song Hye Kyo candidly said, “Yes, there are times when I think I look beautiful. Especially during international events or photoshoots like today, when I am styled and made up in new ways.”
Regarding her personal life, star revealed she is currently taking a break after finishing filming. She is spending time with friends, as she usually limits social interactions while working. She also wants to enjoy single life. “I’m having fun with my friends. When I’m working on a project, I rarely see my friends. But right now, I can take time for myself without worrying about anything major. I’m someone who needs time alone. After socializing, I need my own space. During my alone time, I watch movies, listen to music, clean the house, and walk my dog, fully enjoying my personal time,” Song Hye Kyo shared.
She also revealed that one of her current friends she cares about is Suzy. They have become closer recently, and she even invited the younger actress over after the 3rd Blue Dragon Film Awards in June.
When asked what she would say to her younger self starting out in her career, Song Hye Kyo responded: “You didn’t know much when you started, but you worked really hard and have come this far. I tell myself, ‘You’ve done really well.’”
She also sent a message to her future self in 20 years: “If I’m still working, I might say, ‘Are you still working?’ I want to tell myself, ‘You’ve worked very hard. It’s time to rest.’”
