Mason Disick, now 14 years old, was spotted towering over his mom, Kourtney Kardashian, during a casual shopping trip to Trader Joe’s in Calabasas, California, on Monday.
The mother-son duo appeared to be in high spirits, sharing laughs as they grabbed a shopping cart together.
Mason opted for a laid-back look with a black hoodie, black jeans, and sneakers, while the Kardashians star, 45, kept it cozy in a green hoodie and sweatpants.
A Rare Public Appearance
Mason, the eldest son of Kourtney and her ex, Scott Disick, is known for keeping a low profile. He rarely makes public appearances and reportedly prefers a more private, “normal” lifestyle.
“He wants nothing to do with this [publicity],” Kourtney revealed on the ‘Not Skinny But Not Fat’ podcast in October 2022. “He doesn’t love it, and I want my kids to be kids. I crave as much normalcy as possible for them.”
In addition to Mason, Kourtney shares Penelope Disick, 12, and Reign Disick, 9, with Scott, whom she dated from 2006 to 2015. Penelope, dressed in her school uniform, also accompanied them during the outing.
A Growing Family
Kourtney is also mom to Rocky Barker, her 1-year-old son with her husband, Travis Barker. The couple tied the knot in April 2022 and celebrated a lavish second wedding in Italy a month later.
Interestingly, Mason did not attend the Italian ceremony nor appear in Hulu’s special, ‘Til Death Do Us Part: Kourtney & Travis.
Although he keeps a distance from the Kardashian spotlight, Mason is often seen spending quality time with Scott. In July, the father-son duo was spotted traveling together, as seen in photos shared on Scott’s Instagram.
Earlier this year, Mason gave fans a rare glimpse into his life by launching his own Instagram account, where he occasionally shares updates.
This recent outing marks a rare public appearance for Mason, who continues to grow both in stature and independence while navigating life in a famous family.
