During her recent Las Vegas performance over the weekend, Adele captivated audiences not just with her soulful rendition of I Drink Wine but also by showcasing a dazzling engagement ring on her left hand. As she sang, “In these crazy times, I hope to find something I can hold onto,” the 36-year-old singer subtly highlighted the impressive diamond ring, a gift from her fiancé, Rich Paul.
Jewelry expert Laura Taylor, specializing in engagement rings at Lorel Diamonds, estimated the piece to be worth over $875,000. “This timeless design features an 8-carat pear-shaped diamond set in a four-prong platinum band adorned with micro pavé diamonds. The result is a mesmerizing sparkle that perfectly complements Adele’s elegance,” Taylor shared with Page Six.
Adele officially announced her engagement to the 43-year-old sports agent in August 2024, following three years of dating. The revelation came during one of her concerts in Germany when a fan jokingly proposed to her, and Adele hinted at her already planned wedding. A month earlier, the pair had sparked engagement rumors after being spotted together on a casual stroll in London.
The couple’s love story began in 2021 when they were first seen together at an NBA Finals game. Since then, Adele and Paul have been inseparable, attending high-profile events and enjoying quiet moments away from the spotlight. By late 2022, the duo took a significant step forward, purchasing a luxurious $58 million mansion in Beverly Hills, California.
This engagement marks a fresh chapter in Adele’s life, following her marriage to Simon Konecki, which ended in 2021. Adele shares a 12-year-old son, Angelo, with Konecki. Now, with her Grammy-winning career flourishing and a supportive partner by her side, Adele has expressed readiness for both marriage and expanding her family, making this new chapter a particularly joyful one.
