She shared how she adjusted the line “N-gga eat this ass like a plum” to “Baby eat it up like a plum,” hoping it would pass for pop radio. However, this edit was still rejected, leading to further revisions such as, “Baby eat these peaches and plums.” Cardi admitted this felt uncomfortably “corny,” comparing it to something suitable for her son’s Kidz Bop playlist.
