Cardi B did not hold back her feelings when confronted with accusations from Offset that she cheated on him while pregnant. On September 25, the couple had a heated exchange on Instagram and X.
During an Instagram Live session, Cardi B, 31, did not hesitate to criticize Offset, 32. Offset accused her of sleeping with another man while she was carrying their child: “U f–ked with a baby inside tell the truth!!”
Cardi then responded on X, asserting “AND DID !!!!!!,” which served as a confirmation of Offset’s accusations against her. On X, the famous rapper of “WAP” added, “A hurt Nikka will do the unthinkable,” indicating that she was furious and would do things that no one could imagine.
In the Instagram Live, Cardi expressed her gratitude for the three children she has from her relationship with Offset. However, she also openly spoke about her “regret” regarding her ex: “But f— you, I regret you. I’m too good for you. I’ve always been too good for you.”
She did not hesitate to voice her anger: “Since you wanna f—ing threaten me, talking about you wanna take my s—, you wanna take my s— because I’m moving on? Move on. Move on. Why can’t you move on?”
Cardi also seemed to imply that their legal battle would not be easy, especially since Offset wanted to gain custody: “It’s no fun when Mama’s got the gun, right? Now we’re going to court war, right?”
Representatives for both Cardi and Offset have not yet responded to requests for comment from reporters. The couple, who share a daughter named Kulture Kiari Cephus, a son named Wave Set Cephus, and a baby girl born in September 2024, have had a tumultuous relationship over the years.
Their love story began with dating rumors in February 2017 when they attended Super Bowl LI together. By October of that year, Offset proposed to Cardi at a Power 99 concert in Philadelphia. However, it was later revealed that they had secretly married on September 20, 2017.
Prior to this, the “Drip” artist had filed for divorce from Offset twice, first in September 2020 and again in July 2024. Shortly after, Cardi announced on Instagram that she was expecting their third child together, and their baby girl was born just a month later.
