After three failed marriages, Britney Spears has announced that she has finally found the perfect partner. The pop star shocked fans by posting a video on her social media where she wears a wedding dress and veil.
The “Princess of Pop” left fans bewildered when she declared that she had married… herself. Specifically, Britney wrote on Instagram: “The day I married myself. It might seem embarrassing or silly, but I think it’s the best thing I’ve ever done!”
After her divorce from her much younger ex-husband, actor and model Sam Asghari, last year, Britney has caused even more concern among her fans with her frequent odd and unusual behavior. The 43-year-old pop star has often donned revealing outfits, danced in bikinis, played with knives, and shared these moments on her personal social media accounts.
Reflecting on her breakup with her younger husband, she shared: “As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together. Six years is a long time to be with someone, so I was a bit shocked, but I’m not here to explain why because that’s no one’s business. Honestly, I can’t bear this pain anymore. In some ways, I’ve received so many heartwarming messages from friends, and I thank you all. I’ve acted strong for too long, and my Instagram seems perfect, but that’s not reality, and I think we all know that.”
An insider shared that Britney “is still very cheerful despite everything that is happening.” This source noted: “Clearly, this isn’t easy to go through, but she maintains a positive attitude and is focused on the future.”
Throughout her life, Britney Spears has been married three times. Her first marriage to childhood friend Jason Allen Alexander in January 2004 lasted only 55 hours. Her second husband was dancer Kevin Federline, with whom she divorced after three years, during which they had two sons who lived with their father throughout their upbringing.
In 2022, it seemed like the pop star had found her destiny when she married Sam Asghari, but the couple went their separate ways just 14 months after tying the knot.
