After returning home from her extravagant New York City party, the “I Like It” singer shared a video of herself in bed, partially covering her naked breasts and appearing disheveled. In the video, she lamented, “I will never, ever drink again. I will never. Pray for me. Wait, I’m still drunk.”
Cardi also revealed that a friend accompanying her passed out en route to the afterparties, and the friend noted that Cardi had consumed “the whole” bottle of Hennessy Cognac. As a mother of three young children, this incident raised eyebrows.
On October 11, the rapper, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, hosted her “Bardi in the City” party while donning a provocative black cut-out dress she had purchased from the gentlemen’s club where she had previously worked as a stripper. “Let me tell you about my little thotty dress,” she explained. “The dress I was going to wear for my birthday was too small, and there wasn’t enough fabric.”
She added, “I got in a truck and went to Staten Dolls Gentlemen’s Club, where I worked for four years, and bought this little dress because baby, NOTHING was going to stop this night. I love the fact that they don’t see me as CARDI B. They still treat me like CAMILLA… my stripper name.”
During the party, Cardi spent the night dancing and serving shots to her friends. Although her estranged husband, Offset, was not in attendance, the “Bodak Yellow” singer continued to enjoy herself. The couple, who began their relationship in early 2017, have faced various controversies, including infidelity scandals, a secret marriage, and the birth of their children, Kulture Kiari Cephus and Wave Set Cephus. Cardi previously filed for divorce from Offset on September 15, 2020, but they reconciled shortly after. However, she has since initiated divorce proceedings again, with a new filing expected before the summer of 2024.
